Senior Engineering Manager  

Senior Engineering Managers have not only the technical expertise to take on and provide technical leadership, but also to manage a team of engineers. As a senior engineering manager, you will manage project goals, contribute to product strategy and help develop the engineering organization as a whole. You can expect to work with complex technical problems such as artificial intelligence, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, security and user interface design. Our engineers are just getting started reinventing the multi-trillion dollar logistics industry, and as an engineering manager, you will lead the way.

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will:

• Manage a team of software engineers, including task planning and code reviews
• Provide technical leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment
• Be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects
• Work closely with product management and design teams to ensure we're building the best products possible

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 4+ years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript)
• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing strategic projects
• 2+ years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role
• Passion for building a high-performance team and working on high-impact projects
• Strong communication skills
