Software Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist  

Roles:

• Consistently execute end-to-end tests across our platforms

• Collaborate with stakeholders and the development team to advocate for software quality and assess gaps in the product

• Conduct user acceptance tests based on criteria and communicate with the QA team

• Perform system, functional and exploratory testing of mobile and web applications

Responsibilities:

• Develop test cases and test scripts

• Prepare and manage test environment

• Execute tests

• Report, escalate and analyze test findings

• Conduct defects management

• Interact and collaborate with development teams

• Interface with users during testing and reporting

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in Software Testing
• Temporary Work From Home Set-up with at least 2mbps internet connection (must be amenable to work in Makati)
• A degree in computer science or other related courses
• Anyone with experience in software quality testing
• Understands structured testing techniques and QA methodologies

Required skills:

• Deep understanding of software development basics, the tenets of quality, and best practices for software testing

• Experience in Manual Testing

• Experience in SQL

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

• Use of defect tracking systems (like Git, Jira, HP ALM, or similar)

• Familiar with API Testing, Regression Testing, Stress Testing, and Smoke Testing

• Has high attention to detail and can identify edge-case scenarios

• Ability to translate technical requirements into test plans

• Test Case Analysis

• Test Execution and Test Design

Nice to have:

• Experience in Linux environment

• Experience with API testing
