Job Description
- Oversee and monitor the day-to-day financial operations.
- Prepare budget and track the company’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
- Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company
- Research and analyse financial reports and market trends
- Provide insightful information and analysis to management and department partners to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
- Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
- Stay up to date with technological advances, accounting software and financial reporting and accounting standards to be used for financial purposes.
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
- Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Business and Accounting
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
- At least 3-year experience in Finance role or related field is a plus
- Analytical and Problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop strong working relationships
- Leadership and employee management skills
- Commercial and business awareness
- Good communication skills
