Senior Equities Trader  

We are searching for a Senior Trader to grow its customer base. This position will be responsible for developing profitable sales, promoting relationships within the business unit, and capitalizing upon the company’s network. See below for the specific responsibilities and qualifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Will be responsible for sourcing new clients while strengthening the relationship of the existing ones
• Will be responsible for selling the company’s recommendations to this set of customer base.
• Should have effective servicing skills and should be excellent in conflict management .
• Will be responsible to develop business, maximize revenue generation & achieve sales targets
• Will work in close coordination with the head office to ensure all clients acquired from the assigned area, trade actively.

• Must be a graduate/post graduate of any business course with at least 2 years of trading experience.
• Prior experience from either buy side and/or sell side equities
• Must have passed the Certified Sales Representative (CSR) given by the SEC
• Must have a firm grasp of both Fundamental and Technical Analysis to identify buying opportunities
• Can interpret financial statement and extrapolate basic ratios from data
• Should have good communication and presentation skills.
• Should be a self-starter, proactive and target oriented.
• Should possess strong networking and relationship building skills
• May have good existing client relationships in the market. Access to high net worth individuals and institutional accounts not required would be a welcome addition
