Job Description
Our Email Marketing Specialist will primarily focus on creating emails for digital marketing campaigns and ensuring the quality of content. He/she will focus on customer engagement and retention tasks, developing successful engagement strategies and will learn how to time deployments strategically to increase open rates, purchases and lead generation.
- Create and distribute email marketing campaigns to introduce and promote our client’s business to prospective clientele
- Escalate email campaign responses to supervisor especially if the potential client shows interest
- Ensure that marketing messages are concise, conveyed clearly, and properly delivered to prospects
- Ensure messages are sent in proper form and template.
- Proofread emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling.
- Follow up on interested respondents or leads on a weekly basis. Login credentials to websites where lead’s contact information is located will be provided.
- Monitor and report on several email campaigns in order to guide developments or improvements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Advertising background or equivalent
- 1+ years solid experience as an Email Marketing Specialist or similar
- Experience working in Shipping and Logistics industry is preferred
- Familiarity with Incoterms ( International Commercial Terms ) is an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills in using MS applications specifically Outlook and in navigating various websites
- Knowledgeable in different chat applications such as WeChat, WhatsApp and Viber
- Experience with major email marketing service providers such as Mailchimp and HubSpot is a plus, but not required
