Customer Success Executive  

BuildZoom’s mission is to find the perfect contractor for any residential or commercial renovation or new construction project. Using BuildZoom is like asking a neighbor for a recommendation - except instead of just asking one, you are polling every neighbor in your community, analyzing their feedback, exhaustively researching work histories and credentials, and only then, making a final decision. Our content team publishes articles on the best contractors across the US, and is split into three sub-teams: the researchers, writers, and operation staff.

What you will do:

• You will be working with our project owners and contractors to provide the best possible remodeling help and assisting them in building their dream home.
• Your diverse responsibilities include collaborating with English speaking contractors and homeowners via all forms of communication and providing high-value guidance curating our onsite content and moderating reviews.
• You will learn how to build websites and optimize contractor profiles (no experience required at all!).
• You will be interfacing with our Oklahoma and San Francisco offices on a daily basis.
• Most importantly, you'll be given the freedom and responsibility to improve the core BuildZoom site and internal tools through implementing product and process improvements; we're an open-minded startup looking for people with drive and passion to make lasting changes.

• You are a people person and love communicating with colleagues from many backgrounds.
• You are self-driven, organized, outgoing, smart and enthusiastic.
• You have at least 1–2 solid years of experience in Customer Service.
• You have excellent listening, convincing, and communication skills.
• You are comfortable with technology (email, Google, VOIP, etc.). Familiarity with CRM applications, Zendesk, and other platforms is an advantage.
• You are interested in making a permanent impact at a tech startup!
