Canva has over 10 million monthly active users across 190 countries and as we continue to scale in numbers, we also aim to reach our users on the most convenient platform. In 2016, we launched our iPhone application enabling users to create beautiful designs on the go, followed by the release of the Android app in November 2017. In 10 months the Android app has been downloaded over 10 million times.
We are looking for a Mobile Marketing Specialist that will work on effectively scaling mobile projects and processes. This involves communicating directly with our users through push notifications and in-app messages; by making the app more discoverable on the app stores; engaging and educating through valuable content, and running relevant marketing campaigns.
What you'll do...
- Launch experiments and campaigns that will push conversion, activation, and retention rates.
- Responsible in monitoring and optimizing app channels and its content.
- Work with designers to improve app store conversion by experimenting with app store assets including screenshots, feature graphics and video.
- Create and execute mobile marketing strategies and implement best practices
- Assist in layout curation, elevation, testing and conduct layout research and requests
- Monitor app store reviews, in-app feedback, and cascade important information to respective teams
- Own and improve mobile projects and processes
Minimum Qualifications
You'll love this role if you have...
- At least 2-3 years of mobile marketing background
- Solid project management skills
- Basic knowledge in data analytics
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and ensure timely delivery of content
- Great stakeholder management
Nice-to-haves:
- Knowledge in SEO, ASO marketing and growth strategies
- Experience in using app analytics platforms (e.g. SensorTower, MobileAction, AppAnnie, Localytics etc.)
- Experience in writing and running push notification or email campaigns in platforms such as Leanplum, Braze/Appboy, Mailchimp etc.
- Social media marketing background
- A passion for creativity and design is a definite plus!
