The Team
As Canva’s reach continues to skyrocket, we aim to make Canva the go-to place for all design needs on the web. This involves providing our millions of users their most search designs, templates, icons, photos and directing them in using Canva as their design platform.
About the role
We are looking for an SEO Executive whose mission is to coordinate how we research, build and surface SEO-focused content for Canva’s growth across all current and upcoming platforms.This person will hit these goals through keyword research, growing the team, and driving efficient coordination among different content projects and stakeholders. This role is especially crucial as our platforms continue to grow across markets, channels, platforms, and communities.
Your role:
- Hands-on keyword research and landing page creation across crucial platforms, channels and communities.
- Coordinate SEO content projects effectively and accurately to writers, designers, and different stakeholders - both in house and offsite.
- Champion daily content requirements for landing pages and ensure that all our organic platforms get the attention they need for timely landing page launches .
- Support the SEO team goals by reviewing technical issues such as 404 errors, site migrations for special projects every quarter.
- Review on-page elements and improve landing page HTML elements.
Minimum Qualifications
Role Must-haves:
- Basic to intermediate understanding and work experience in technical SEO.
- Outstanding track record in SEO Keyword Research and on-page SEO is preferred but not a limiting factor for fresh applicants keen to learn on the job.
Nice-to-haves:
- Knowledge and understanding in SEO is ideal
- Previous background working in technical SEO
- A passion for creativity and design is a definite plus!
