Job Description
The Buyer will be in charge of canvassing and purchasing supplies for all indirect production materials and services needed by the company. They will ensure materials and services are available on time based on the demand and with approval of the management.
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES and AUTHORITIES
- Canvassing
- sources and maintains reliable suppliers of materials and services needed
- follows up consistently with suppliers for faster turnaround of quotation and sample requests
- looks for most competitive pricing of items without sacrificing quality of goods

Purchasing
- prepares and sends approved PO to suppliers
- keeps track of scheduled deliveries
- keeps every purchase and transaction properly documented
- constantly updates departments on status of requested items

Stock Monitoring
- ensures that there are sufficient materials for day to day operations
- monitors movement and use of materials
- troubleshoots unforeseen supply issues

Other Responsibilities

may perform other duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of any four-year course
- Has 2-3 years of technical buying experience
- Possess good communication and negotiation skills
- Computer literate and has knowledge on cloud based programs
