Contract Manager  

Role Summary:

The Vendor Management Lead oversees vendor contracts that ATRAM is involved with and must have in-depth knowledge of contract features. He/She is also directly responsible for managing vendor activities and maintain new and existing vendor relationships, identify suitable vendors and negotiate to secure the best prices for products and services, and ensure that vendors fulfill their contractual obligations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create, analyze, negotiate, and execute vendor contracts for various transactions
• Maintain contract-related documents and correspondence
• Keep track of contracts and extend, renew, or close them out
• Troubleshoot contract-related problems, such as breach of contract
• Develop and sustain long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors
• Conduct research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product quality
• Implement vendor selection programs to ensure that the best vendors are secured
• Establish standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors

• Relevant educational qualifications, a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accountancy or Bachelor of Law
• With at least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proven experience working as a vendor manager
• In-dept understanding of how to create contracts
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Quick thinking, creative and innovative
• Persistent - has follow through
• High level of integrity
