Job Description
- Audio Cataloging and Inventory Project Staff catalogs in the Media Asset Management System (MAMS) all audio materials turned over by ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries. The project staff also assists in the scanning of music sheets and providing metadata using DMS, converts assets to WAV format and other transactions related to Music Library Operations.
- Scope of Work
- Provides information in the Media Asset Management System (MAMS)
- Classifies audio materials according to genre and style
- Encodes catalog fields required by the system
- Converts analog music assets to WAV Format (digital file) and uploads to Media Asset Management System (MAMS)
- Scans areglo, lyric sheets, and other library transaction documents using DMS
- Encodes metadata for all scanned documents
- Organizes and files printed documents
- Areglos and lyric sheets
- Turnover slips
- Borrowing and return slips
- Other related documents
Minimum Qualifications
- College graduate (4-year course)
- Library Science, Computer Science or Mass Communications graduate preferred
- Flexible and can work with minimum supervision
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Can work under pressure
- Keen with details
