Job Description
The Alternative Media Relations Manager will report to the Vice President for Corporate Affairs. He/She will be primarily responsible for managing AP Corporate Affairs (AP CA) agencies tasked for special projects.
He/she will perform writing, editing, seeding, tracking, monitoring and measuring of special projects related stories released to the media, and developing media relations programs and crisis communication.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management (Marketing), or Communications (Mass Communications).
- At least 10 years experience in public relations (campaign management and delivery), marketing, media relations, corporate market research including social media measurements & insights, and policy advocacy.
- At least 5 years experience in PR agencies, conglomerates or multinational corporations in the delivery of marketing campaigns.
- At least 2 years evidence of leader of team whether direct line manager role, or management of contractual teams or agencies under contract
- Continuing professional education (certifications) in the fields related to integrated marketing communications, social media, digital marketing, measurement & insights (market research), and project management.
